Mar 12, 2003· if you're really worried about the recoil in the model 7, might i suggest one in 260 rem it is a 65mm slug coming out of a 308 case i consider the 260 a perfect match for the model 7 light weight, low recoil, accurracy and good ballistics over extended rang it should be enought for anything in north america short of moose or big bear.
